| 28 | 28 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 211 is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof |

| 30 | 30 | | 3 Such compensation shall be increased at the same rate of increase, if any, as the |

| 31 | 31 | | 4percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Workers for the Northeast Region |

| 32 | 32 | | 5commencing the first day in July of the year 2025, and every year thereafter |

| 33 | 33 | | 6 SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 211A of the General Laws by adding at the end |

| 46 | 46 | | 19departments of the trial court, who have reached the mandatory retirement age of 70 under the |

| 47 | 47 | | 20Massachusetts Constitution, Part II, c.3 article 1, as amended by the Article 98 of the |

| 48 | 48 | | 21Amendments, shall be entitled to an adjustment to their annual pension; and said pension shall be |
|---|
| 49 | 49 | | 22increased at the same rate of increase, if any, as the percentage change in the Consumer Price |

| 50 | 50 | | 23Index for Urban Workers for the Northeast Region commencing on July 1, 2025, and every year |
