2828 An Act relative to parking permit fees.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law or ordinance to the
3232 2contrary, no municipality that operates a permit program for the parking of motor vehicles for a
3333 3duration between 2 days and 366 days shall charge in excess of a daily limit of $7 for each day of
3434 4said permit's validity.
3535 5 SECTION 2. The daily limit established in section 1 shall be increased by $0.50 on
3636 6December 31 of each year.
3737 7 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect on January 1, 2024
