[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 2119 OF 2023-2024.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act relative to parking permit fees. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law or ordinance to the 2contrary, no municipality that operates a permit program for the parking of motor vehicles for a 3duration between 2 days and 366 days shall charge in excess of a daily limit of $7 for each day of 4said permit's validity. 5 SECTION 2. The daily limit established in section 1 shall be increased by $0.50 on 6December 31 of each year. 7 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect on January 1, 2024
