An Act relative to parking permit fees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law or ordinance to the 
2contrary, no municipality that operates a permit program for the parking of motor vehicles for a 
3duration between 2 days and 366 days shall charge in excess of a daily limit of $7 for each day of 
4said permit's validity.
5 SECTION 2. The daily limit established in section 1 shall be increased by $0.50 on 
6December 31 of each year.
7 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect on January 1, 2024
