| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 1. Section 72W of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 |

| 30 | 30 | | 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after “The commissioner after consultation with |

| 31 | 31 | | 3the secretary of elder affairs and the board of registration shall establish standards for the training |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4of nurses' aides which shall include a minimum of sixty hours of training;” the following: |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5“provided that such training shall be delivered in languages other than English, including, but not |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6limited to, Spanish, Chinese and Haitian Creole; provided further that the department shall |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7determine in which languages the training shall be offered.” |
