An Act relative to bidding 	for public construction contracts.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Subsection 2 of section 44D of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as 
2appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the fifth sentence, in 
3lines 66-67, inclusive, and inserting in place thereof the following sentence: 
4 An application for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be public record 
5as defined in section 7 of chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application 
6shall not be a public record. 
7 SECTION 2. Subsection 12 of said section 44D, of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is 
8hereby amended by striking out the fifth sentence, in lines 279-281, inclusive, and inserting in 
9place thereof the following sentence: 
10 Applications for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be public record as 
11defined in section 7 of chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application 
12shall not be a public record.
