2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section
3131 215CCCCCCC the following section:-
3232 3 Section 15DDDDDDD. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart
3333 4September 20th as LGBTQ+ Veterans Day, to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and
3434 5queer (LGBTQ+) veterans who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces throughout the
3535 6nation’s history and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the
3636 7people.
