| 30 | 30 | | 1 Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section |

| 31 | 31 | | 215CCCCCCC the following section:- |

| 32 | 32 | | 3 Section 15DDDDDDD. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4September 20th as LGBTQ+ Veterans Day, to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5queer (LGBTQ+) veterans who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces throughout the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6nation’s history and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 7people. |
