2525 An Act relative to vanity plate fees.
2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2727 of the same, as follows:
2828 1 SECTION 1 Notwithstanding any special or general law, rule or regulation to the
2929 2contrary, the registry of motor vehicles shall only charge a single special fee for a vanity plate
3030 3registration. Any and all subsequent registration renewal fees shall be at the same amount as for
3131 4standard non-vanity plates in the commonwealth.
3232 5 SECTION 2 This act shall take effect on January 1st of the year following passage into
3333 6law.
