An Act relative to electronic scanning of identification.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after
2section 8M the following section
3 Section 8N. Businesses in the Commonwealth may not only retrieve information from
4consumers by electronically scanning their ID, but the information may also be allowed to be
5entered manually.
