| 31 | 31 | | 1 Section 16A of chapter 101 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official |

| 32 | 32 | | 2Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following words:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 3 A violation of this paragraph shall be considered a civil motor vehicle infraction, and |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4shall be punishable by a fine of $50 issued by any police officer with the authority to issue |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5citations pursuant to chapter 90C. |

| 36 | 36 | | 6 An annual motor vehicle maintenance inspection pursuant to section 7A of chapter 90 for |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7a motor vehicle used for selling frozen desserts pursuant to this section shall include an |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8inspection of the flashing amber dome light and front and rear warning lights as required by this 2 of 2 |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 9section; and a failure to have such operational lights shall result in a failed motor vehicle |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 10inspection. |
