An Act relative to collective procurement of energy supply.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 164 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 47E the 
2following section:-
3 Section 47F. (a) Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, 
4investor-owned electric utilities and municipal light plants may enter into agreements to 
5collectively bid for the joint procurement of energy supply.
6 (b) The department shall promulgate any regulations, pursuant to chapter 30A, necessary 
7to implement this section.
