| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Subsection (2) of section 3 of chapter 32, as appearing in the 2022 Official |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2Edition, is hereby amended in the definition of Group 4 in paragraph (g) by striking out the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3words “employees of a municipal gas or electric generating or distribution plant who are |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4employed as linemen, electric switchboard operators, electric maintenance men, steam engineers, |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5boiler operators, firemen, oilers, mechanical maintenance men, and supervisors of said |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6employees who shall include managers and assistant managers” and inserting in place thereof the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7following words:- |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8 employees of a municipal gas or electric generating or distribution plant who are |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9employed as linemen or line workers, electric switchboard operators, electric maintenance |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 10workers, substation technicians, meter installers, steam engineers, boiler operators, firemen or |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 11firefighters, oilers, mechanical maintenance workers and supervisors of said employees who |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 12shall include managers and assistant managers. 2 of 2 |

| 41 | 41 | | 13 SECTION 2. Section 1 shall take effect upon enactment. |
