| 26 | 26 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | 1 SECTION 1. Subsection (j) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 2in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended in paragraph (4) by inserting after the words “in |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 3compliance with chapter 21E” the following:- |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 4 and for the purposes of promoting the redevelopment of contaminated sites and shall |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 5include, without limitation, expenses associated with such redevelopment that are required for |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 6such redevelopment by the Massachusetts Contingency Plan as outlined in 310 CMR 40.0000 et |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 7seq., and any associated policy and guidance of the department of environmental protection. |

| 35 | 35 | | 8 SECTION 2. Subsection (d) of section 38Q of chapter 63 of the General Laws, as so |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 9appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the words“in compliance with chapter 21E” the |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 10following:- |

| 38 | 38 | | 11 and for the purposes of promoting the redevelopment of contaminated sites and shall |

| 39 | 39 | | 12include, without limitation, expenses associated with such redevelopment that are required for 2 of 2 |
