2828 An Act to enhance cooperative purchasing opportunities for cities and towns.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 22 of chapter 30B of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the
3232 2first paragraph, the following paragraph: Notwithstanding the provisions of any other section of
3333 3this Chapter, public procurement units that conducts a cooperative purchasing agreement may
3434 4award contracts to multiple offerors through a request for proposals if their chief procurement
3535 5officer determines that doing so is in the best interests of the parties to the cooperative
3636 6purchasing agreement.
