An Act to enhance cooperative purchasing opportunities for cities and towns.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 22 of chapter 30B of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the 
2first paragraph, the following paragraph: Notwithstanding the provisions of any other section of 
3this Chapter, public procurement units that conducts a cooperative purchasing agreement may 
4award contracts to multiple offerors through a request for proposals if their chief procurement 
5officer determines that doing so is in the best interests of the parties to the cooperative 
6purchasing agreement.
