Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay 2Transportation Authority and regional transit authorities organized under chapter 161B of the 3General Laws shall not charge riders a fare for rapid transit, bus, and trolleybus service along 4fixed routes on the day of a biennial state primary or biennial state general election.
