2727 An Act designating a certain promenade in the town of Clinton as the Honorable Harold P.
2828 Naughton, Jr. Promenade.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. The Wachusett Dam Promenade located in the town of Clinton shall be
3232 2designated and known as the Honorable Harold P. Naughton, Jr. Promenade in recognition of the
3333 3Honorable Harold Naughton, Jr., Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard and a Veteran
3434 4of both the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. The Honorable Harold Naughton served in the
3535 5Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1995 to 2021, before serving as Associate Justice
3636 6of the Massachusetts District Court.
3737 7 SECTION 2. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation shall erect
3838 8and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the
3939 9department.
