Cronin for legislation to designate a certain promenade in the town of Clinton as the Honorable Harold P. Naughton, Jr. Promenade. Environment and Natural Resources. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act designating a certain promenade in the town of Clinton as the Honorable Harold P. Naughton, Jr. Promenade. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. The Wachusett Dam Promenade located in the town of Clinton shall be 2designated and known as the Honorable Harold P. Naughton, Jr. Promenade in recognition of the 3Honorable Harold Naughton, Jr., Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard and a Veteran 4of both the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. The Honorable Harold Naughton served in the 5Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1995 to 2021, before serving as Associate Justice 6of the Massachusetts District Court. 7 SECTION 2. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation shall erect 8and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the 9department.
