120 | 120 | | (2) The Task Force may hire a consultant to assist the Task Force in 14 |

123 | 123 | | (g) (1) The Task Force shall hold at least two public hearings before 16 |
---|
124 | 124 | | submitting the report required under subsection (h) of this section. 17 |

127 | 127 | | subsection shall be at the discretion of the cochairs of the Task Force. 19 |

129 | 129 | | (h) On or before December 1, 2024, the Task Force shall submit a report of its 20 |
---|
130 | 130 | | findings and recommendations to the County Executive of Montgomery County, the County 21 |
---|
131 | 131 | | Council of Montgomery County, and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government 22 |
---|
132 | 132 | | Article, the members of the Montgomery County Delegation to the General Assembly. 23 |

134 | 134 | | SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 24 |
---|
135 | 135 | | 1, 2023. It shall remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the end of June 30, 2025, 25 |

136 | 136 | | this Act, with no further action required by the General Assembly, shall be abrogated and 26 |
---|
