1110 | + | (ii) An institution of higher education that receives funds under this 12 | |
1111 | + | paragraph shall provide the Commission with an annual audit describing the disposition 13 | |

1114 | + | SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That it is the intent of the General 15 | |

1117 | + | (1) beginning in fiscal year 2026, the Governor shall include funding for 17 | |
1118 | + | financial aid offices at public institutions of higher education to implement Section 2 of this 18 | |

1121 | + | (2) the Maryland Higher Education Commission shall work with the 20 | |
1122 | + | Segmental Advisory Council and the Financial Assistance Advisory Council to establish 21 | |
1123 | + | regulations to implement Section 2 of this Act, including award deadlines and procedures 22 | |

1126 | + | SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall take 24 | |
