54- (b) A community development project shall provide for:

88-before applying for assistance under this section, graduated from a public institution of
89-higher education in the State with at least:

98- (2) The Administration may administer community development projects

99+ 2. is a degree–seeking, full–time equivalent student in an 1
100+undergraduate level, graduate level, or professional degree program. 2

101- (i) are in sustainable communities approved under § 6–305 of this
102-article; and
102+ (iii) “Public institution of higher education” has the meaning stated 3
103+in § 10–101 of the Education Article. 4

104- (ii) provide current students and recent graduates with financial
105-assistance in the form of grants to buy homes near the school of the student or graduate.
105+ (iv) “Recent graduate” means an individual who, within 5 years 5
106+before applying for assistance under this section, graduated from a public institution of 6

107- (3) A community development project administered under this subsection
108-is not subject to the provisions of subsection (b)(1) of this section that require part of the
109-housing to be occupied by families of limited income.

112-subsection shall be known as the Live Near Your School program.

115-Your School program established under this subsection.

117- (6) FOR FISCAL YEARS 2026 THROUGH 2030, EACH YEAR THE
118-GOVERNOR SHALL INCLUD E IN THE ANNUA L BUDGET BILL AN APP ROPRIATION OF
119-$200,000 FOR THE LIVE NEAR YOUR SCHOOL PROGRAM ESTABL ISHED UNDER THIS
120-SUBSECTION.
