AN ACT concerning 1 
 
Maryland Transit Administration – Disability Reduced Fare Program – Renewal 2 
for Permanently Disabled Individuals 3 
 
FOR the purpose of requiring the Maryland Transit Administration to automatically renew 4 
the Disability Reduced Fare Program certification of an enrollee who is permanently 5 
disabled; and generally relating to the Disability Reduced Fare Program.  6

 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 12 
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 13

 (A) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW 	THE 16 
DISABILITY REDUCED FARE PROGRAM CERTIFICATION OF AN ENROLLEE WHO IS 17 
PERMANENTLY DISABLED .  18  2 	HOUSE BILL 450  
 
 
 
 (B) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS ESTABLISHING A 1 
PROCESS TO CARRY OUT THIS SECTI ON. 2 
 
 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 3 
October 1, 2025. 4
