The People of the State of Michigan enact: Sec. 67. (1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2), the portion of highway US-127 in Ingham County shall be known as the James M. Pelton Firefighters Memorial Highway. (2) The portion of highway US-127 in Ingham County beginning at the Cedar Street exit and continuing north to the highway I-96 interchange shall be known as the Trooper Starr Memorial Highway. This act is ordered to take immediate effect. AN ACT to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled An act to consolidate prior acts naming certain Michigan highways; to provide for the naming of certain highways; to prescribe certain duties of the state transportation department; and to repeal acts and parts of acts and certain resolutions, by amending section 67 (MCL 250.1067), as added by 2003 PA 195.
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
Sec. 67. (1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2), the portion of highway US-127 in Ingham County shall be known as the James M. Pelton Firefighters Memorial Highway.
(2) The portion of highway US-127 in Ingham County beginning at the Cedar Street exit and continuing north to the highway I-96 interchange shall be known as the Trooper Starr Memorial Highway.
