ONeal, McFall, Fitzgerald, Young, Bierlein, Schuette, Beson, Tyrone Carter, Haadsma, Brenda Carter, Rheingans, Neeley, Brabec and Glanville ENROLLED HOUSE BILL No. 5717 AN ACT to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled An act to consolidate prior acts naming certain Michigan highways; to provide for the naming of certain highways; to prescribe certain duties of the state transportation department; and to repeal acts and parts of acts and certain resolutions, (MCL 250.1001 to 250.2092) by adding section 105a; and to repeal acts and parts of acts. The People of the State of Michigan enact: Sec. 105a. (1) The portion of highway I-75 in Saginaw County beginning at Willard Road and extending north to Riverview Road shall be known as the Trooper Joel E. Popp Memorial Highway. (2) The portion of highway M-53 in Macomb County beginning at the intersection with 18 Mile Road and continuing north to the interchange with Hall Road shall be known as the Officer Leroy Imus Memorial Highway. Subject to section 2, a sign designating the location of the Officer Leroy Imus Memorial Highway must be placed at the northbound intersection of highway M-53 and 18 Mile Road and on the southern side of the southbound intersection of highway M-53 and 20 Mile Road.  Enacting section 1. Section 30c of the Michigan memorial highway act, 2001 PA 142, MCL 250.1030c, is repealed. ENROLLED HOUSE BILL No. 5717

AN ACT to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled An act to consolidate prior acts naming certain Michigan highways; to provide for the naming of certain highways; to prescribe certain duties of the state transportation department; and to repeal acts and parts of acts and certain resolutions, (MCL 250.1001 to 250.2092) by adding section 105a; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:
