44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 18B.07, subdivision 8, is amended to read:​
66 1.6 Subd. 8.Pesticide, rinsate, and container disposal.(a) A person may only dispose of​
77 1.7pesticide, rinsate, and pesticide containers in accordance with this chapter and FIFRA. The​
88 1.8manner of disposal must not cause unreasonable adverse effects on the environment.​
99 1.9 (b) A person is prohibited from disposing a pesticide container by burning.​
1010 1.10 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective January 1, 2026.​
