88 1.8appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Education in the fiscal years​

1010 1.10 Subd. 2.Junior Achievement North.(a) For a grant to Junior Achievement North to​
1111 1.11expand access to its financial literacy programming for elementary and secondary students:​

1414 1.14 (b) The grant awarded under this section must be consistent with the procedures for​
1515 1.15evidence-based education grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 127A.20.​
1616 1.16 (c) Junior Achievement North must use the grant proceeds to expand the number of​
1717 1.17students who participate in Junior Achievement North's financial literacy programs, career​
1818 1.18readiness programs, and entrepreneurship programs with a focus on expanding opportunities​
1919 1.19for underserved students. To the extent possible, programming must be provided in an​
2020 1.20equitable manner to students in greater Minnesota.​
2121 1.21 (d) In addition to other reporting requirements, and subject to Minnesota Statutes, section​
2222 1.223.195, by February 1 of each year Junior Achievement North receives an appropriation,​
