55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. PALISADE; CLEAN WATER AND WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS.​
77 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$12,189,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds​
88 1.8fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Palisade to predesign, design,​
99 1.9construct, furnish, and equip improvements to the clean water and wastewater infrastructure​
1010 1.10in the city of Palisade. Clean water infrastructure includes a new water treatment plant;​
1111 1.11rehabilitation of existing municipal wells; adding a new municipal well to the system;​
1212 1.12replacement of valves, service shutoffs, and hydrants; and rehabilitation of an elevated water​
1313 1.13storage tank. Wastewater infrastructure includes wastewater treatment facility improvements​
1414 1.14and sanitary collection system improvements.​
1515 1.15 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond​
1616 1.16proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of​
1717 1.17the state in an amount up to $12,189,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect​
1818 1.18prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota​
1919 1.19Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.​
2020 1.20 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
