44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. SPECIAL LIQUOR LAW; CITY OF ROCHESTER.​
66 1.6 Notwithstanding any other law, ordinance, or charter provision to the contrary, the city​
77 1.7of Rochester may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to the Historic Chateau Theater,​
88 1.8located in the city at 15 1st Street Southwest. The license authorizes sales on all days of the​
99 1.9week to persons attending performances, exhibitions, or any other events at the theater. The​
1010 1.10provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not inconsistent with this section, apply to​
1111 1.11a license issued under this section.​
1212 1.12 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval by the Rochester City​
1313 1.13Council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.​
