9 | 9 | 1.9Law 99-272, section 9505, to the extent authorized by rule, except that: | |
10 | 10 | 1.10 (1) a recipient age 21 or under who elects to receive hospice services does not waive | |
11 | 11 | 1.11coverage for services that are related to the treatment of the condition for which a diagnosis | |
12 | 12 | 1.12of terminal illness has been made.; and | |
13 | 13 | 1.13 (2) room and board expenses are covered for persons receiving hospice services in a | |
14 | 14 | 1.14community-based setting, to the extent room and board expenses are not otherwise covered | |
15 | 15 | 1.15under this chapter or chapter 256I. | |
16 | 16 | 1.16 (b) Hospice respite and end-of-life care under subdivision 22a are not hospice care | |
