1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to commerce; requiring places of entertainment to provide access to potable 1.3 water at events; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 325F. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5 Section 1. [325F.677] AVAILABILITY OF WATER AT PLACES OF 1.6ENTERTAINMENT. 1.7 Subdivision 1.Definitions.(a) For purposes of this section, the following terms have 1.8the meanings given. 1.9 (b) "Entertainment" has the meaning given in section 325F.676, subdivision 1, paragraph 1.10(c). 1.11 (c) "Place of entertainment" has the meaning given in section 325F.676, subdivision 1, 1.12paragraph (h). 1.13 Subd. 2.Available water requirement.While entertainment is occurring, a place of 1.14entertainment must provide attendees with access to potable water by: 1.15 (1) providing bottled water at no cost to the attendees; 1.16 (2) allowing attendees to bring bottled water into the place of entertainment; or 1.17 (3) allowing attendees to bring an empty water bottle to the place of entertainment and 1.18providing attendees with access to potable water to fill the bottle. 1Section 1.
