55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 325E.3892, subdivision 1, is amended to read:​
77 1.7 Subdivision 1.Definitions.(a) For purposes of this section, the following terms have​
88 1.8the meanings given.​
99 1.9 (b) "Covered product" means any of the following products or product components:​
1010 1.10 (1) jewelry;​
1111 1.11 (2) toys;​
1212 1.12 (3) cosmetics and personal care products;​
1313 1.13 (4) puzzles, board games, card games, and similar games;​
1414 1.14 (5) play sets and play structures;​
1515 1.15 (6) outdoor games;​
16-1.16 (7) school supplies, except ink pens and mechanical pencils;​
16+1.16 (7) school supplies;​
1717 1.17 (8) pots and pans;​
1818 1.18 (9) cups, bowls, and other food containers;​
1919 1.19 (10) craft supplies and jewelry-making supplies;​

41-2.12 Subd. 2a.Age restriction.A retailer must only sell paint or pastels containing cadmium​
42-2.13that are not prohibited under subdivision 2 if the purchaser presents valid evidence that the​
43-2.14purchaser is at least 18 years of age.​
