6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 299K.07, is amended to read: |

39 | 39 | | 2.9telephone number of the State Emergency Management Operations Center in all files, |

40 | 40 | | 2.10permits, correspondence, educational publications, and other communications with the |
---|
41 | 41 | | 2.11public and other persons, and shall must designate personnel to coordinate receipt of reports |
---|
42 | 42 | | 2.12or notifications with State Emergency Management Operations Center personnel. |
---|
43 | 43 | | 2.13 (d) Immediately after reporting to or notifying the State Emergency Operations Center |
---|
44 | 44 | | 2.14under paragraph (a) or (c), the owner or operator of a facility whose primary purpose is the |
---|
45 | 45 | | 2.15processing of crude oil into petroleum products, as defined in section 296A.01, subdivision |
---|
46 | 46 | | 2.1642, must also notify the local emergency personnel with responsibility to protect public |
---|
47 | 47 | | 2.17health by responding to a discharge, release, or incident from the facility. |
---|
48 | 48 | | 2.18 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment and |
---|
49 | 49 | | 2.19applies to a discharge, release, or incident occurring on or after that date. |
