55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97C.315, subdivision 1, is amended to read:​
77 1.7 Subdivision 1.Lines.An angler may not use more than one line, except that:​
88 1.8 (1) two lines may be used to take fish through the ice;​
99 1.9 (2) the commissioner may, by rule, authorize the use of two lines in areas designated by​
1010 1.10the commissioner in Lake Superior; and​
1111 1.11 (3) two lines may be used in the Minnesota River downstream of the Granite Falls Dam​
1212 1.12and in the Mississippi River downstream of St. Anthony Falls.; and​
1313 1.13 (4) a person with a walleye stamp validation may use two lines to take fish in open water​
1414 1.14and four lines to take fish through the ice.​
