1.2 relating to game and fish; allowing anglers with a walleye stamp validation to use​
1.3 additional lines; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97C.315, subdivision​

1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97C.315, subdivision 1, is amended to read:​
1.7 Subdivision 1.Lines.An angler may not use more than one line, except that:​
1.8 (1) two lines may be used to take fish through the ice;​
1.9 (2) the commissioner may, by rule, authorize the use of two lines in areas designated by​
1.10the commissioner in Lake Superior; and​
1.11 (3) two lines may be used in the Minnesota River downstream of the Granite Falls Dam​
1.12and in the Mississippi River downstream of St. Anthony Falls.; and​
1.13 (4) a person with a walleye stamp validation may use two lines to take fish in open water​
1.14and four lines to take fish through the ice.​
