9 | 9 | | 1.9offered online or in person and must provide an explanation of the legal obligations of a |

10 | 10 | | 1.10reporter, consequences for failure to report, and instruction on how to detect and report |

11 | 11 | | 1.11suspected maltreatment or suspected abuse, as defined under section 260E.055, subdivision |

12 | 12 | | 1.121, paragraph (b). A local welfare agency may fulfill the requirement under this section by |

13 | 13 | | 1.13directing reporters to trainings offered by the commissioner. |

14 | 14 | | 1.14 Subd. 2.Training content.For a training under this section, at least half of the training |

15 | 15 | | 1.15time must be spent on how to identify signs of suspected maltreatment or abuse, as defined |
