77 1.7 $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
88 1.8of employment and economic development for a grant to Generation Hope. Grant proceeds​
99 1.9must be used for workforce innovation and job placement programs aimed at supporting​
1010 1.10individuals in recovery through:​
1111 1.11 (1) workforce training tailored to high-demand industries and emerging sectors;​
1212 1.12 (2) record expungement assistance to eliminate barriers to employment;​
1313 1.13 (3) workforce coaching to provide personalized career guidance, mentorship, and job​
1414 1.14placement services; and​
1515 1.15 (4) innovative strategies to connect participants to sustainable, long-term employment​
1616 1.16opportunities, including partnerships with local employers and community organizations.​
1717 1.17This is a onetime appropriation.​
