1616 1.16addressing the needs of African American youth who are involved in truancy and the child​
1717 1.17protection system. Eligible uses of grant money for truancy crisis response include​
1818 1.18establishing mentoring relationships, re-engaging a child with their birth family or other​
1919 1.19relatives, preparing and assisting youth in finding meaningful work opportunities, and​
2020 1.20providing life skills training in trauma-informed practices and de-escalation skills.​
2121 1.21 (c) Any balance in fiscal year 2026 is available in fiscal year 2027.​
