55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256B.051, subdivision 6, is amended to read:​
77 1.7 Subd. 6.Provider qualifications and duties.(a) A provider eligible for reimbursement​
88 1.8under this section shall:​
99 1.9 (1) enroll as a medical assistance Minnesota health care program provider and meet all​
1010 1.10applicable provider standards and requirements;​
1111 1.11 (2) demonstrate compliance with federal and state laws and policies for housing​
1212 1.12stabilization services as determined by the commissioner;​
1313 1.13 (3) comply with background study requirements under chapter 245C and maintain​
1414 1.14documentation of background study requests and results;​
1515 1.15 (4) directly provide housing stabilization services and not use a subcontractor or reporting​
1616 1.16agent; and​
1717 1.17 (5) complete annual vulnerable adult training.​
1818 1.18 (b) Eligible providers must submit an application to the commissioner and the​
1919 1.19commissioner must complete the processing of each application within two weeks.​

2929 2.2 Subd. 7.Housing support supplemental service rates.Supplemental service rates for​

3131 2.4(a), clause (3), and 256I.05, subdivision 1g, shall be reduced by one-half over a two-year​
3232 2.5period. This reduction only applies to supplemental service rates for individuals eligible for​
3333 2.6receiving housing stabilization services under this section. Services must not be duplicative​
3434 2.7for individuals receiving both supplemental services under section 256I.04 or 256I.05 and​
3535 2.8housing stabilization services under this section. The reduction under this subdivision is​
3636 2.9suspended for supplemental services provided from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.​
