1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to human services; modifying application processing times for housing 1.3 stabilization services; modifying housing support supplemental service rates; 1.4 amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256B.051, subdivisions 6, 7. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256B.051, subdivision 6, is amended to read: 1.7 Subd. 6.Provider qualifications and duties.(a) A provider eligible for reimbursement 1.8under this section shall: 1.9 (1) enroll as a medical assistance Minnesota health care program provider and meet all 1.10applicable provider standards and requirements; 1.11 (2) demonstrate compliance with federal and state laws and policies for housing 1.12stabilization services as determined by the commissioner; 1.13 (3) comply with background study requirements under chapter 245C and maintain 1.14documentation of background study requests and results; 1.15 (4) directly provide housing stabilization services and not use a subcontractor or reporting 1.16agent; and 1.17 (5) complete annual vulnerable adult training. 1.18 (b) Eligible providers must submit an application to the commissioner and the 1.19commissioner must complete the processing of each application within two weeks. 1Section 1. 25-04821 as introduced03/14/25 REVISOR AGW/RC SENATE STATE OF MINNESOTA S.F. This reduction only applies to supplemental service rates for individuals eligible for 2.6receiving housing stabilization services under this section. Services must not be duplicative 2.7for individuals receiving both supplemental services under section 256I.04 or 256I.05 and 2.8housing stabilization services under this section.
