| 8 | 8 | | 1.8 (a) $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9commissioner of children, youth, and families for a grant to Community Mediation Minnesota |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10to administer a statewide family mediation pilot program to provide support to grandparents |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11and families. This is a onetime appropriation. |

| 12 | 12 | | 1.12 (b) The grant money must be used to: |

| 13 | 13 | | 1.13 (1) provide family dispute resolution services; |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14 (2) increase awareness of and access to family dispute resolution services statewide; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 1.15 (3) provide alternative dispute resolution services, including but not limited to family |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 1.16reconnection coaching, mediation, and navigation services; |

| 17 | 17 | | 1.17 (4) partner with culturally specific dispute resolution programs to provide training and |

| 18 | 18 | | 1.18assistance with virtual and in-person mediation services; |
