33 1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
44 1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; WORK ZONE SAFETY.​
55 1.5 $300,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the trunk highway fund to the​
66 1.6commissioner of transportation for additions and modifications to work zone design or​
77 1.7layout to reduce vehicle speeds in a trunk highway work zone. This appropriation is available​
88 1.8following a determination by the commissioner that the initial work zone design or layout​
99 1.9is insufficient in providing for reduced vehicle speeds.​
