18 | 18 | | 1.18located of (1) the date of the conviction and the reasons for crime for which the alien |

19 | 19 | | 1.19commitment was convicted, (2) the length of time for which committed, (3) the country of |

20 | 20 | | 1.20which the alien is a citizen, and (4) the date on which and the port at which the alien last |

42 | 42 | | 2.11 By September 1, 2025, the commissioner of corrections, chief executive officer, sheriff, |

43 | 43 | | 2.12or other officer in charge of a state or county institution which is supported, wholly or in |
---|
44 | 44 | | 2.13part, by public funds that houses persons serving a felony sentence shall inquire into the |
---|
45 | 45 | | 2.14nationality of each person in their custody who is serving a felony sentence. If it appears |
---|
46 | 46 | | 2.15that the person is an undocumented alien, the officer shall immediately notify the United |
---|
47 | 47 | | 2.16States immigration officer in charge of the district in which the correctional facility, jail, or |
---|
48 | 48 | | 2.17other institution is located of (1) the date of the conviction and the crime for which the alien |
---|
49 | 49 | | 2.18was convicted, (2) the length of time for which the alien is committed, (3) the country of |
---|
