44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; CARE FOR CLINICIANS GRANT.​
66 1.6 $....... is appropriated in fiscal year 2026 from the general fund to the commissioner of​
77 1.7health for a grant to the Minnesota Medical Association to conduct a "Treat Yourself First"​
88 1.8campaign. The campaign must be an awareness and education campaign focused on burnout​
99 1.9and well-being of health care workers designed to: (1) reduce the stigma of receiving mental​
1010 1.10health services; (2) encourage health care workers who are experiencing workplace-related​
1111 1.11fatigue to receive the care they need; and (3) normalize the process for seeking help. The​
1212 1.12campaign must be targeted to health care professionals, including but not limited to​
1313 1.13physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and other members of the health care team. The​
1414 1.14campaign must include resources for health care professionals seeking help to address​
1515 1.15burnout and well-being. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until July 1, 2030.​
