AN ACT 
To authorize the conveyance of certain state property. 
 
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: 
     Section 1.  1.  The governor is hereby authorized and 1 
empowered to sell, transfer, grant, convey, remise, release, 2 
and forever quitclaim all interest of the state of Missouri 3 
in property located in the City of Kirksville, Adair County, 4 
Missouri, to the Kirksville R -III School District.  The  5 
property to be conveyed is mor e particularly described as 6 
follows: 7 
All of Block thirty nine (39) of the Original 8 
Town (Now City) of Kirksville, Missouri. 9 
     2.  The commissioner of administration shall set the 10 
terms and conditions for the conveyance as the commissioner 11 
deems reasonable.  Such terms and conditions may include, 12 
but not be limited to, the number of appraisals required and 13 
the time, place, and terms of the conveyance. 14 
     3.  The attorney general shall approve the form of the 15 
instrument of conveyance. 16 
     Section 2.  1.  The governor is hereby authorized and 1 
empowered to sell, transfer, grant, convey, remise, release, 2 
and forever quitclaim all interest of the state of Missouri 3 
in property located in the City of Kirksville, Adair Cou nty,  4   SCS HCS HB 1597 	2 
Missouri to Truman State University.  The property to be 5 
conveyed is more particularly described as follows: 6 
Part of the Northwest Fourth (NW 1/4) of the 7 
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) Section 16 Township 8 
62 Range 15 Adair County, Missouri, beginning at  9 
a point Six Hundred Twenty -nine and One-half  10 
(629 1/2) feet South and Twenty (20) feet East 11 
of the Northwest (NW) Corner of said Forty acre 12 
tract, and running thence East Two Hundred 13 
Twenty-five (225) feet, thence South One Hundred 14 
Feet (100), thence West Two Hundred Twenty -five  15 
(225) feet, thence North One Hundred (100) feet 16 
to place of beginning; 17 
Also part of the Northwest Fourth (NW 1/4) of 18 
the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) Section 16 19 
Township 62 Range 15 Adair County, Missouri, 20 
beginning Six Hundred Twenty-nine and One-half  21 
(629 1/2) feet South and Two Hundred Forty -five  22 
(245) feet East of the Northwest (NW) Corner of 23 
said Forty acre tract, and running thence East 24 
Four Hundred Forty-eight (448) feet more or less 25 
to the West line of Floren ce Street, thence  26 
South Fifty-one (51) feet Four (4) inches, 27 
thence West Four Hundred Forty -eight (448) feet,  28 
thence North Fifty-one (51) feet Four (4) inches 29 
to beginning; subject to Right -of-Way for  30 
highway across Southwest Corner thereof. 31 
     2.  The commissioner of administration shall set the 32

hereby authorized and empowered to sell, transfer, grant, 2 
convey, remise, release, and forever quitclaim all interest 3 
of the department of natural resources in real property 4 
located in the County of Iron to the state highways and 5 
transportation commission.  The property to be conveyed is 6 
more particularly described as fol lows: 7 
The property being a part of Tract 7 of the 8 
Murdock-Crumb Company Subdivision of Section 3, 9 
Township 33 North, Range 4 East of the Fifth 10 
Principal Meridian, Iron County, Missouri and 11 
also being a part of Lot 2 of the Northeast 12 
Quarter of said Section 3, lying on the 13 
Northerly or left side of the hereinafter - 14 
described Rte. 72 surveyed centerline, to wit: 15 
All the land of said grantor lying within the 16 
following described tract: Beginning at PC 17 
Station 129+35.00; thence northwesterly to a 18 
point 60.00 feet northerly of and at a right 19 
angle to the Rte. 72 surveyed centerline PC 20 
Station 129+35.00; thence northeasterly to a 21 
point 55.00 feet northerly of and at a right 22 
angle to the Rte. 72 surveyed centerline Station 23 
130+53.13; thence northeaste rly to a point 85.00 24 
northwesterly of and at a right angle to the 25 
Rte. 72 PT Station 131+50.10; thence 26 
northeasterly to a point 80.00 feet 27 
northwesterly of and at a right angle to the 28

the left a distance of 215.10 feet to PT Station 100

     2.  The director of the department of natural resources 111 
and the state highways and transportation commission shall 112 
set the terms and conditions for the conveyance, including 113 
the consideration, except that such consideration shall not 114 
exceed one dollar.  Such terms and conditions may include, 115 
but not be limited to, the number of appraisals required and 116 
the time, place, and terms of the conveyance. 117 
     3.  The general counsel for the department of natural 118 
resources shall approve the form o f the instrument of 119 
conveyance. 120 
     Section 4.  1.  The governor is hereby authorized and 1 
empowered to sell, transfer, grant, convey, remise, release, 2 
and forever quitclaim all interest of the state of Missouri 3 
in property located in the County of Pike, Missouri, to the 4 
state highways and transportation commission.  The real  5 
property to be conveyed is an irregular tract of land 6   SCS HCS HB 1597 	7 
located in a part of Lots 13 and 14 of Jas. Mosley's Estate 7 
Subdivision of the SE¼ Sec. 23, Twp. 53 N. R. 3 W., Pike  8 
County, Missouri, and is more particularly described as 9 
follows: 10 
Beginning at a point in the center of a public 11 
road and which point is the NW. corner of the 12 
SW¼ SE¼, said Section 23, and which point is on 13 
the southerly right of way line of a state road  14 
known as U.S. Route #54, Pike County, Missouri; 15 
thence run south on the west line of the SE¼ 16 
said Section 23 a distance of 338 feet; thence 17 
run east on a line parallel to the north line of 18 
the SW¼ SE¼ said Section 23 a distance of 256 19 
feet to intersect the westerly right of way 20 
fence line of the St. Louis and Hannibal 21 
Railroad Company; thence meander in a northerly 22 
direction along said right of way fence line a 23 
distance of 455 feet to intersect the south 24 
right of way line of U.S. High way #54; thence  25 
run on a bearing south 46 deg. 52 min. west 118 26 
feet to intersect the west line SE¼ said Section 27 
23 at the point of beginning.  Hereinabove  28 
described tract of land contains 1 8/10 acres 29 
more or less. 30 
     2.  The office of administrati on and the state highways 31 
and transportation commission shall set the terms and 32 
conditions for the conveyance, including the consideration, 33 
except that such consideration shall not exceed one dollar.   34 
Such terms and conditions may include, but are not limited  35 
to, the number of appraisals required, and the time, place, 36
