Currentlyemployeesofastateagencyorapoliticalsubdivision areprohibitedfromplacingasurveillancecameraorgamecameraon privatepropertywithouttheconsentofthelandowneror landowner'sdesignee,asearchwarrant,orpermissionfromthe highestrankinglawenforcementchieforofficeroftheagency undercertainconditions. Thebillremovestheabilityforthe highestrankinglawenforcementchieforofficertoapprovethe placementofacameraonprivateproperty. ThisbillissimilartoHB1010(2021).
