44.028.1.Wheneverthefederalgovernmentorofficeroragencythereofshalloffer
2tothestate,orthroughthestatetoanypoliticalsubdivisionthereof,services,equipment,
3supplies,materialsorfundsbywayofgift,grantorloan,forthepurposeofemergency
4management,thestateactingthroughtheagency,orthepoliticalsubdivision,throughits
5executiveofficerwiththeconsentofthegovernor,mayaccepttheofferandmayreceivethese
6services,equipment,supplies,materialsorfundsonbehalfofthestateorthepolitical
7subdivisionsubjecttothetermsoftheoffer.
8 2.TheagencymayenterintocontractswiththeUnitedStatesArmyCorpsof
9EngineerstoleaseanydredgingequipmentownedbytheCorpsthatisnotbeingusedat
10thetimethecontractisenteredintoandthattheCorpswillnotuseforthedurationof
11thecontract.Thecontractsauthorizedinthissubsectionshallbelimitedtoleasing
12equipmentfordredgingsiltfromriversandstreamsforfloodpreventionpurposes.
