Currently,lodgingestablishments arenotliableforthelossof certainspecifieditems,suchasmoneyorjewelry,unlesstheguest asksthattheitembeplacedinasafeandthelodging establishmentrefusesoromitstodoso.Thisbillstatesthatthe hotelmayuseasafeorsafedepositboxeslocatedbehindthe registrationdeskandwhendepositedintoasafe,mustgivethe guestareceiptfortheitem.Thebillalsospecifiesthatany lodgingestablishmentthatpublishescurrentrateselectronically onapublicInternetplatformdoesnothavetopostawrittencopy oftherateschargedforeachguestroom.
