BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows:
SectionA.Section300.295,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection300.295,toreadasfollows:
300.295.1.Wheneveranypersondrivingavehicleapproachesarailroadgrade
2crossingunderanyofthecircumstancesstatedinthissection,thedriverofsuchvehicleshall
3stopwithinfiftyfeetbutnotlessthanfifteenfeetfromthenearestrailofsuchrailroad,and
4shallnotproceeduntilhecandososafely.Theforegoingrequirementsshallapplywhen:
5 (1)Aclearlyvisibleelectricormechanicalsignaldevicegiveswarningofthe
6immediateapproachofarailroadtrainorotheron-trackequipment;
7 (2)Acrossinggateisloweredorwhenahumanflagmangivesorcontinuestogivea
8signaloftheapproachorpassageofarailroadtrainorotheron-trackequipment;
9 (3)Anapproachingrailroadtrainorotheron-trackequipmentisplainlyvisibleand
10isinhazardousproximitytosuchcrossing.
11 2.Nopersonshalldriveanyvehiclethrough,aroundorunderanycrossinggateor
12barrieratarailroadcrossingwhilesuchgateorbarrierisclosedorisbeingopenedorclosed.
