1110 Submitting to the qualified voters of Missouri, an amendment repealing section 18(b) of article VI
1211 of the Constitution of Missouri, and adopting one new section in lieu thereof relating

1514 Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring therein:
1615 That at the next general elec tion to be held in the 1
1716 state of Missouri, on Tuesday next following the first Monday 2
1817 in November, 2022, or at a special election to be called by 3
1918 the governor for that purpose, there is hereby submitted to 4
2019 the qualified voters of this state, for adoption or 5
2120 rejection, the following amendment to article VI of the 6
2221 Constitution of the state of Missouri:7
2322 Section A. Section 18(b), article VI, Constitution of 1
2423 Missouri, is repealed and one new section adopted in lieu 2
2524 thereof, to be known as section 1 8(b), to read as follows:3
2625 Section 18(b). The charter shall provide for its 1
2726 amendment, for the form of the county government, the 2
2827 number, kinds, manner of selection, terms of office and 3
2928 salaries of the county officers, and for the exercise of all 4
3029 powers and duties of counties and county officers prescribed 5
3130 by the constitution and laws of the state; however, such 6
3231 charter shall[, except for the charter of any county with a 7
