Thebillprohibitspublicschooldistrictsandcharterschoolsfromallowinganystudenttocompete
inanathleticscompetitiondesignatedfortheoppositesex,asdeterminedbythestudent'sofficial
birthcertificate,orifunobtainable,anothergovernmentrecord.However,afemalestudentmay
beallowedtocompeteinanathleticscompetitiondesignatedformalestudentsifthereisnosuch
athleticscompetitionforfemalestudentsoffered.

nearthetimeofbirthormodifiedtocorrectscrivener'serror.
