ThisbillauthorizestheDivisionofProfessionalRegistration,
withintheDepartmentofCommerceandInsurance,tooversee
professionalbareknucklefightinginMissouri. TheDivisionwill
acceptapplicationsandissuelicensesforcontestantsandlicenses
toholdbareknucklefightingcontests.
TheDivisionmustissuemandatorymedicalsuspensionsfor
contestantswholoseconsciousnessorareinjuredasaresultof
blowsreceivedtotheheadorbody.TheDivisionisalso
prohibitedfromissuinglicensestoparticipateinbareknuckle
fightingiftheindividualhasbeeninjuredinsuchamannerthat
theindividualcannotcontinuetoparticipate. TheDivisionwill
havetheauthoritytopromulgaterulestogoverninevery
particularprofessionalbareknucklefighting.
